Territory Day - 2023
Kicking off July with a BANG!
The community of Nauiyu Nambiyu nestled along the famous Daly River held it’s family sports and culture day on 1st of July, the only day Territorians get to light the night sky through the colour of fireworks.
The community day was about bringing family and friends together for a time of culture sports and family fun and then came the main event (The clash of the titans), Time for round nine of the Big Rivers Football League. The Daly River Buffaloes took on Katherine Eastside FC, The Buffs who had recently joined the League and were apart of hosting football rounds in their community.
Throughout the day there were also plenty of activities for the kids, heaps of giveaways, sprint races with prizes for all ages, healthy food fruit and a sausage sizzle.
