Deadly Cup Rugby League Carnival 2026

TEABBA was proud to be broadcasting live across the TEABBA Radio Network from Richardson Park, bringing listeners all the action, stories and community spirit from one of the Northern Territory's biggest NAIDOC Week celebrations.



The Deadly Cup is much more than a rugby league carnival. It brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, communities, health organisations and local services in a powerful celebration of culture, connection and wellbeing. From the exciting junior Indigenous All Stars and NT All Stars matches to the Deadly Health Expo, cultural activities, community stalls and family fun, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to Deadly Vision Centre, all the organisers, volunteers, players, coaches, Elders, exhibitors and community organisations who made the day such a success. Your dedication continues to create opportunities for young people, promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen our communities through sport and culture.
