National Reconciliation Week

TEABBA's Live OB at Menzies School of Health Research

TEABBA was excited to share the significance of National Reconciliation Week, celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and highlight the importance of building stronger relationships between First Nations peoples and the wider community.

Throughout the event, TEABBA Radio interviewed guests and staff from Menzies. It was great to share the day's activities and the great things happening at Menzies with our listeners across the TEABBA Radio Network. The outside broadcast showcased the spirit of reconciliation, bringing together community members, staff, and visitors to reflect on this year's theme and the ongoing journey towards unity, respect, and understanding.

TEABBA Radio thanks Menzies School of Health Research for the invitation and warm hospitality. TEABBA’s Tahlia, Polly G & Lee were honoured to be part of such a meaningful event and look forward to continuing to support and promote community initiatives that strengthen reconciliation and celebrate First Nations voices.
