The National Indigenous Music Awards held on the 9th of July at the Darwin Gardens Amphitheatre
TEABBA was privileged to Broadcast the whole event across our 29 Remote Indigenous communities in the Top End, a big shout out to the Brother Sister stations who took the live broadcast, this collaboration made it a true National Broadcast shout outs to the PAKAM Network, 6WR Waringarri media Kunanarra, CRN Community Radio Network & 4K1G Townsville "Too Deadly"
The NIMAS Celebrations opened with a powerful Larrakia Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, Many of our Deadly First Nations artist took out awards and it was lovely to see so many of our mob sharing centre stage. a big thank you to Music NT for putting this altogether and the amazing hosts for keeping us entertained Ben Graetz & Elaine Crombie.
